Lot

A Messenger Sent to His People · Lut · لوط
Islam

Lut, peace be upon him, was a messenger who believed Abraham’s message, and the Quran names him in 27 verses. He called his people away from their wrongdoing, was saved with his family, and Allah says he was among the messengers. The Quran is the final revelation, and it is the measure for what earlier books say of him.

Indeed, their appointment is [for] the morning. Is not the morning near?’”
The angels reveal they are messengers of his Lord, and tell him to leave by night with his family, except his wife.

The wife of Lot is given as an example of disbelievers, though she lived under a righteous servant.
